Your pool or spa filter is an essential component to keep your water clean. After the pump draws the water through the skimmer and hair and lint pot, the filter is designed to remove the fine organic material that is collected in your pool such as dust, dirt, hair and fibres. Removing the organic material not only helps the pool sparkle but starves algae and bacteria of the food they need to thrive.
